Types of stainless steel fibers

Steel fiber has not been around for a long time, but its application fields are becoming more and more extensive. Accordingly, the types of steel fiber are also increasing.
1. According to the shape, there are: straight steel fiber, pressed prismatic steel fiber, corrugated steel fiber, hook-shaped steel fiber, large-head steel fiber, double-cusp steel fiber, bundled steel fiber, etc.
2. According to the cross-sectional shape, there are: circular (a), rectangular (b), groove (c), irregularity (d)
3. According to the production process, there are: cutting steel fibers (cutting with thin steel wires); shearing steel fibers (cutting with thin steel plates and strips).
4. Classified by material:
Ordinary carbon steel fiber (tensile strength is generally 300~2500MPa);
Stainless steel fiber (according to material, there are 304, 310, 330, 430, 446, etc.);
Other metal fibers (aluminum fiber, copper fiber, titanium fiber and alloy fiber).
5. According to the surface coating status, there are: no coating layer, surface coating with epoxy resin, galvanized, etc. Common steel fibers without coatings are widely used in industry.
