What standards must steel fiber have to be considered high-quality steel fiber?
Jan 14, 2024| In industry standards, high-quality steel fiber should meet the following points:
1. The bending resistance of steel fibers. Steel fibers should be able to withstand continuous bending of 90° by steel rods with a diameter of 3mm. No less than 10 pieces should be inspected in each batch.
2. The length error of steel fibers should not exceed 10% of the specified length, and at least 10 fibers per batch should be randomly inspected.
3. The impurity content is low. There should be no oil stains on the surface of the steel fiber, and it should not be plated with harmful substances or impurities that affect the bonding between the steel fiber and concrete.
4. The tensile strength test of steel fiber requires that its tensile strength is not less than 380MPA.
5. The passing rate of the diameter or equivalent diameter of steel fibers shall not be less than 90%. The weighting method can be used for inspection. 100 fibers per batch shall be randomly inspected, weighed with a balance, and measured with a caliper. The equivalent average value must meet the requirements. .
