Application field

Function

 

1 Improve crack resistance

AF-Fiber is distributed in 3D in concrete, which reduces the stress concentration of microcrack points, weakens or eliminates the tension caused by day cracking in concrete or mortar, and further prevents the occurrence and development of microcracks.

2 Reduce permeability

The evenly distributed fiber monofilaments form a support system to prevent water seepage and aggregate settlement, greatly reducing porosity, thereby significantly reducing the permeability of concrete.

3 Improve freeze-thaw resistance

AF-Fiber can effectively reduce the stress concentration caused by multiple freeze-thaw cycles in concrete and prevent further expansion of microcracks.

4 Improve toughness and impact resistance

AF-fiber helps absorb the kinetic energy generated when concrete components are impacted. Due to the anti-cracking effect of the fiber, when concrete is subjected to impact loads, the fiber can prevent the rapid expansion of internal cracks, thereby improving the toughness and impact resistance of concrete.

5 Improve durability

The reduction in porosity can slow down the corrosion caused by the penetration of water, chloride ions and other chemicals, thereby reducing damage to concrete and improving the durability of concrete.

6 Improve fire resistance

When the temperature of concrete rises to above 165°C, the PP fiber monofilament mesh will melt and create internal link channels to help high-pressure steam escape from the concrete, thereby preventing bursting in the event of a fire.
